So I don't believe I need to do that step you talk about. With the failed BCA windows install rebooting to black screen, I manually restart to Mac OS, re-run BCA which restores my partition removing the OSXRESERVED partition. Not sure what you are referring to "end up starting the BCA process again". My partitions after bootcamp assistant runs after it partitions and is about to restart:Ģ: Apple_CoreStorage Macintosh HD 201.4 GB disk0s2ģ: Apple_Boot Recovery HD 650.0 MB disk0s3Ĥ: Microsoft Basic Data OSXRESERVED 8.0 GB disk0s6ĥ: Microsoft Basic Data BOOTCAMP 40.7 GB disk0s5 My partitions before bootcamp assistant runs:Ģ: Apple_CoreStorage Macintosh HD 250.0 GB disk0s2ģ: Apple_Boot Recovery HD 650.0 MB disk0s4 I have no external storage connected to my mac.Ĭould something be wrong with my partitions?
